In Phaedo, Socrates discusses his thoughts about death and the afterlife during his survive days originally his death. Socrates did not fear his death nevertheless he appe ard in level-headed spirits about dying.He was not afraid because he believes in an afterlife and the soulfulness was an endless being that left field the physical body and moved onto some other world. Socrates believed that it was exacting to do good deeds and take sustainment of the soul because because the actions would impact where they went in the afterlife. He suggests the soul is brought to a adorn of judgment and an appointed spirit guides it to the next life if it has been good and pure.
